Founded over 20 years ago, Pace/Dowd Properties and Pace Development Group have crafted over 14,000 residential home sites in award-winning communities like Hunter Oaks and Highgate in the Weddington area, as well as Lawson, Summerwood and Skybrook. Communities are developed with a strong emphasis on the environmental, historical, and geological preservation of a site, and several projects have received accolades for Green Building practices as well as Historic Tree Preservation Awards. Their community Summerwood has been named Mint Hill, North Carolina's first Conservation District. In addition, Pace/Dowd are members of The National Arbor Day Foundation and has become a corporate member Steward for the organization.
