These guidelines have been approved by the Brandon Oaks Board of Directors. Enjoy your summer and be responsible and respectful!

Homeowners and their guests are responsible for abiding by these guidelines; by visiting/using the pools, the homeowner and their guests are agreeing to these rules.

Swimming Pool Rules

Pool Access

**IT IS THE HOMEOWNERS REPONSIBILITY TO READ & ABIDE BY THESE GUIDELINES!** 

ALL Brandon Oaks residents are required to show their pool fob & ID when checking in. Your fob and ID must remain with you in the pool area at all times. 

Your dues must be paid in full in order to utilize the pools. 

Anyone other than your immediate family members living with you must be issued a guest pass (see guest policy below). 

Lost pool fobs may be replaced at a cost of $30 each and can be picked up from the Clubhouse Office during normal hours (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 11a to 4:30p & Friday 9a to 2p). 

Lifeguards/Attendants

The Clubhouse pool does not have lifeguards and is swim at your own risk. There will be a gate attendant on duty.

LIFEGUARDS/ATTENDANTS will blow a whistle to alert members 10 minutes before the pool closes. All guests should leave promptly.

Parents / Caregivers / Guardians

The kiddie pool area is designated for young children & should have adult supervision. When in/out of the pool, swim diapers/plastic pants must be worn by any incontinent residents (for health reasons & to prevent contamination). Any contamination will result in the closing of the entire facility.

CAREGIVERS (at least 16 years old or older) are required to have a caregiver form on file in the office . The sole purpose is to verify that the parents of these children are aware their children are at the Brandon Oaks pools. Children may not be left unattended and must leave with the caregiver. 

Public or private daycares are NOT allowed in the pool area.

It is our recommendation that adults/caregivers accompany children 12 and under while at the pool.

Toys + Flotation Devices

FLOTATION DEVICES will be allowed in moderation and at the discretion of the lifeguards/attendants, depending on the number of people in the pool.  

Large floats that may obstruct the safe viewing of the pool are prohibited

PLAYING BALL is allowed using a water safe ball & at the lifeguards/attendants, discretion based on pool capacity. 

Regulation, leather, or hard surface footballs are prohibited.  

Safety Break

SAFETY BREAK
At the top of every hour a 10-minute break will be called. This is intended to give children a rest, and adults unobstructed swim time. ALL children must have their entire body out of the water and away from the pool during this time. Parents may use this time to swim with their child (3 years old and under).

Glass or Alcohol

NO GLASS Containers of any kind - Lifeguards/attendants are permitted to check coolers at any time. If glass is broken in the pool area, we are required to close the pool for a week, drain it at a cost of $6,000 and the homeowner will be responsible to pay.

ALCOHOL - may only be consumed by persons of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly! You will be asked to leave if you become intoxicated. Please conceal cans with can huggers and remember, NO Glass Containers of Any Kind.

Cabanas, Tables, Chairs

LOUNGES, CHAIRS & TABLES are available on a first come, first
serve basis. Towels may not be used to reserve chairs. Please clean
your area when you leave.

The cabanas, tables and chairs are not available for rent.

Music

Portable radios are permitted but must be kept at a low volume and no explicit music.

Food

Eating is only allowed at the tables. Drinks can be kept at the pool's edge but must stay out of the water.

NO GLASS of any kind.

Smoking

Smoking – Both pools are non-smoking and non-vaping.

Swimsuits + Attire

All swimmers must shower before entering the pool.

Appropriate swim attire must be worn- this is a family environment. NO thongs or cutoffs permitted.

For young children: When in/out of the pool, swim diapers/plastic pants
must be worn by any incontinent residents (for health reasons & to prevent contamination). Any contamination will result in the closing of the entire facility.

Diving

No diving.

Pets + Animals

Pets & Animals are not allowed inside the pool area or the pool itself.

All Other Rules

No bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades allowed on the pool deck.

Observe all posted safety and informational signs.

Diving – No diving permitted.

Shower – All swimmers must shower before entering the pool.

Parking – Park in the designated parking spaces only. No parking allowed on any grass or roundabout.

Enforcement of Rules

The Pool Manager and Lifeguards/Attendants have the authority to enforce all rules herein to ensure the safety of all members and guests. Any damage to the pool or property will be charged to the persons causing said damage for repairs and/or replacements. All members should encourage compliance with these rules. 

Lifeguards/Attendants reserve the right to deny anyone use of the facility at any time and may remove patrons for repeated or severe violations of the rules.  

Repeated or severe violation of pool rules, loaning of your fob, or destruction of pool property will result in an appearance before the HOA Board, possible fine, and revocation of pool privileges for the entire family. 

By visiting the pool(s), you agree to all of the pool rules.

Guest Policy

All guests must have a Guest Pass, issued from the Clubhouse office. Lifeguards/Attendants will not have them at the gate. 

Punch cards will be available for purchase at the Clubhouse office during normal operating hours. (Mon-Wed 11a to 4:30p and Fri 9a to 2p).

Cost will be $20.00 per card with 10 uses per card. Cash (exact amount) or Check (payable to Brandon Oaks HOA) .

Lost, stolen, or damaged guest passes cannot be replaced! 

Limit of 4 guests passes per household per visit. Guests must follow all Brandon Oaks pool rules. 

Sports Club Waterslide Rules

  1. The line for the slide starts at the bottom of the stairs.
  2. Exit the splash down area quickly.
  3. Riders must wait for the person ahead of them to exit the
    water before entering the slide to go down.
  4. One person may be on the slide at a time. Parents may
    accompany their small child down the slide or wait in the
    water at the bottom.
  5. Only the parent should be in the water waiting for their
    child. All other patrons must remain outside the splash
    down area.
  6. Riders must slide feet first in the seated position or lying
    down. No standing on or jumping/diving from the slide.
  7. No stopping or turning around on the slide.
  8. Loose flotation devices (pool noodles, tubes, etc.) and
    toys are not allowed on the slide. Pool balls should not be
    tossed onto the slide.
  9. Attached life jackets are permitted but not encouraged.
    Riders should know how to swim.
  10. For safety reasons, pregnant women, persons with heart
    conditions, or back problems should not use the slide.

Failure to follow these rules may result in serious injury! Rider assumes all risk of injury due to slide misuse or failure to follow rules.

Management reserves the right to
deny anyone use of the slide at any time
